About me
Above-the-line Defence contractor with over 25 years of combined experience in the Royal Australian Air Force and the Australian Defence industry. I bring a proven track record of delivering complex capability projects across acquisition, sustainment, and operational domains. My career has been defined by leadership and followership in high-tempo environments, with expertise spanning project management, systems engineering, test and evaluation, aviation safety, and military instruction. I have successfully led uniformed personnel and Australian Public Servants across diverse postings and operational contexts, including deployments in the Middle East.
As a Level 3 Project Manager for the Navy Minors Capital Program, I managed the full lifecycle of over 18 diverse projects, ranging from limited tenders to ASDEFCON Complex Vol 1 procurements. I directed tender evaluations, authored key documentation, and maintained strong stakeholder engagement with senior Defence representatives and industry partners. I oversaw budgets from $200K to $20M, ensuring financial compliance and proactive reallocation to maintain project momentum.
I served as the Test and Evaluation Manager for SEA2000, acting as the technical lead (DSS Level 4 Engineer) for the Tender Evaluation Working Group and Board. I provided engineering leadership for solution selection, coordinated integration activities across sub-surface, surface, and air domains, and developed the approved Test and Evaluation Master Plan.
As a Project Engineer for AIR6500, I contributed to the Competitive Evaluation Process for the ADF’s Joint Air Battle Management System. I developed requirements for the Function and Performance Specification and authored the Engineering Management Plan.
Earlier roles include serving as the Base Aviation Safety Advisor (2019–2020), where I promoted a culture of safety through risk assessment and compliance.
